The Odoo 17.0 Release Event for the Americas
Making its debut in 2019, Odoo Day USA is the second edition of the Odoo release events in the USA, this time in Buffalo - New York. Odoo has grown in large numbers in the USA and it’s now one of the biggest markets for Odoo. This year Odoo Day USA was chosen to celebrate the release of Odoo 17.0, the new version of Odoo. ERPGAP is a Silver partner for the USA and had to make sure to be present at this event. Meeting other partners, clients and also the Odoo team is always a great opportunity to learn and share experiences. It’s a party, but it’s also a great learning experience.

We also had showcased Vue Storefront, our Headless e-commerce solution for Odoo. We had some potential clients stopping by to understand how it works and how it can help them to improve their e-commerce business. Sometimes going headless might not be the best solution, implementing a plain Odoo webshop can be just enough if you team and short term goals are not aligned with a headless solution.
The event had lot’s of interesting talks with an agenda full of interesting topics. The keynote was presented by Fabrice Henrion. Odoo 17.0 has a huge amount of new features and improvements. Our top pics are Shop floor module to the new catalog management for quotations and sales orders.
